Every foot is unique, so finding the right size involves more than just measuring your foot length. Factors such as high or low insteps, wide or narrow feet, high arches, bunions and toe shape can all influence how footwear fits. Because of these natural variations, we do not recommend choosing your size based solely on foot measurements or insole lengths.
Instead, we recommend selecting the US size you most commonly wear in international sneaker brands such as Nike or Adidas. Our sizing is designed to align closely with these brands, making it the most reliable way to find your ideal fit.
How Should my UGG Boots fit.
Our boots are crafted from premium, dense twinface Australian Merino sheepskin. The wool naturally compresses, softens and moulds to your feet over time, creating a personalised fit.
When new your boots should feel Snug but Comfortable
- Your toes may lightly touch the front of the boot or sit within approx. 0.5 cm of the front.
- If you can comfortably fit two fingers between your toes and the front of the boot, the size is likely too large.
- If your toes extend past the front stitching or feel compressed against the front of the boot, we recommend sizing up.
Understanding Our Sizing
All UGG Australia® products are labelled in US sizing.

US sizes are equivalent to Australian sizes.

Women's UK sizes are generally two sizes smaller than US sizes (e.g. UK Women's 5 = US Women's 7).

UK Men's and European sizing can vary significantly between brands, so we recommend using your usual US sneaker size as your guide.
If you are purchasing based on a men's sneaker size, please note that men's and women's sizing differs.
Between Sizes?
If you usually wear a half size, we generally recommend sizing up. For example;
- Women's US 7.5 → Choose Women's US 8
- Men's US 8.5 → Choose Men's US 9
Understanding Dual Sizing
Many of our products display both men's and women's sizes on the sole;

Childrens Sizing:
We recommend choosing one size up. For example, if your child normally wears a US Kids 5 (our 5-6), we recommend ordering a 7-8. The boots are lined with a dense Australian sheepskin, which can make them a snug fit and more difficult for children to put on their normal size.
Baby Sizing:
Measurements are provided in centimetres and include an allowance of approximately 1 cm at the toe and 1 cm at the heel for the dense sheepskin lining.
